Dimension 170 is the new album by producer Mike Paprocki. After voyaging into psychedelic afrobeat territory with live drums, live bass, and live analog synth on last year's release of The Spiral Out Sessions, the new album swings in a different direction.
Influenced by more dancefloor-oriented sounds, Dimension 170 is sound system material with elements of breakbeat, drum, and bass, and electro (with a bit of sci-fi dancehall).
All tracks are 170bpm to create a unified vibe for a post-pandemic dance floor.
